The Bible teaches us that God is the creator of all things and the father of Jesus Christ. He is one God (not a trinity) and has a marvellous plan for this earth. We must do our best to love and serve him.
We know that Jesus is God’s son. He was born a man and, although tempted, lived a sinless life. He died for our sins and was raised by God to eternal life. Through his sacrifice we can be saved.
KINGDOM OF GOD
We are told that Jesus will return to the earth to set up God’s kingdom. This will be a never ending worldwide kingdom, inhabited by men and women free from sin, death, suffering and sorrow.
Jesus will judge the living and the dead when he returns, giving those who have believed and followed him a special place in the kingdom. We are not told exactly when this will be, but world events show that God is in control and we should be ready.
We are commanded to be baptised into Christ if we want to share the hope of being raised to life in God’s kingdom.
Baptism is the full immersion in water of an adult as a sign that they believe the things concerning the kingdom of God and the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. It is a symbol of being buried with Jesus and raised to new life, washing away past sins.
Our belief is simple: The Bible makes sense and contains an amazing message of hope for all people!
